Types of Men's
Feelings
Mens feelings and emotions have evolved throughout our history, from the primal emotion of fear to learned social emotions like guilt and pride. And tens of thousands of years later, men are still trying to figure out what they’re feeling and why.
Some feelings are important indicators that something’s not right. Jealousy, anger, frustration – these are all signals that you can choose to ignore or act on. Men’s feelings don’t disappear, so what we resist, persists. When we ignore them, it puts stress on our minds and bodies, negatively impacting our mental and physical health.
But when we learn to recognize certain feelings, we’re aware that we have a problem and can alter the course of our damaging or limiting behaviours. When we have a vocabulary around our emotions and we understand what they’re telling us, we can translate them into meaningful and beneficial circumstances.

For experts in women therapy – Dear Eliza
Our program blends evidence-based counselling with practical tools tailored for men. It’s direct, structured, and results-focused—no guesswork or endless talking.
No diagnosis or doctor’s note needed. Whether you’re dealing with stress or just feeling stuck, we’re here to help.
We do our best to work within a framework that blends the best aspects of coaching and professional development with traditional counselling.
The focus is to deliver therapy in a way that's most receptive for men which includes developing practical tools, solutions and coping mechanisms while setting goals towards improving overall personal well-being.
Our priorities include making sure that the clinician you are working with is A: Clinically equipped to support you with your needs and B: a therapist we feel you would connect best with.
Our goal is to equipped you with the tools & coping mechanisms needed to tackle presenting issues and life's challenges while not in the room with your therapist.
It depends. We’re here to help you understand yourself and why you act the way you do, which may or may not be related to your childhood. Once we determine the root cause of what’s holding you back, we’ll set goals for your desired life, and help you get it.
No. Most guys come to us without prior history of a condition. Modern life is complex and requires a lot from us. Our ability to comfortably navigate daily life depends greatly on our mental abilities. Guys come to us to develop those abilities. Confronting your limiting aspects and moving towards a more rewarding and satisfying life doesn’t mean you have mental issues. We also successfully work with guys with ‘actual’ diagnoses.
