Taking Action
I just needed a practical way of working through the problem. I didn’t want to be on the couch. I wanted to take action.
Andy, 48
Honest Talk
It’s a refreshing way of looking at myself. I’ve tried counselling before, but this is more honest. More objective. More real.
Kevin, 36
Making Progress
I still have a way to go, but I feel like I understand what’s getting in my way better. I haven’t been able to get that from talking before.

We work with guys to figure out what is holding them back or causing them to malfunction in life. Sometimes it’s historic and sometimes it’s situational, regardless, we help guys identify, articulate and conquer it. By understanding what our barriers are, we resolve them.
Yes. You’ll develop mechanisms that you can trigger yourself so that you don’t need to keep coming back. The goal is for you to be able to counsel yourself into higher performance behaviour in real-time.
We mutually agree on goals, metrics and milestones using a clear process to determine what you need to accomplish by when.
Most guys come for an hour of counselling and that’s $160 but you can book shorter or longer increments. If it’s determined that you’d benefit from a psychologist, they are available at $220 per hour. Most of the cost is covered by medical insurance or employer benefits and any portion remaining can be made via Visa, Mastercard or Visa Debit.

We don’t want women to feel excluded and they’re welcome to come, either for themselves or for help dealing with a man in their life. Just know that we tailor our services specifically towards male behaviours, perceptions and attitudes to increase their understanding of the material.
We offer help to women who are worried about a man in their life and we offer to bring spouses and partners into counselling sessions if appropriate. We are inclusive and sensitive to all sexual orientations and gender identities.
For experts in women therapy – Dear Eliza
Our program blends evidence-based counselling with practical tools tailored for men. It’s direct, structured, and results-focused—no guesswork or endless talking.
No diagnosis or doctor’s note needed. Whether you’re dealing with stress or just feeling stuck, we’re here to help.
We do our best to work within a framework that blends the best aspects of coaching and professional development with traditional counselling.
The focus is to deliver therapy in a way that's most receptive for men which includes developing practical tools, solutions and coping mechanisms while setting goals towards improving overall personal well-being.
Our priorities include making sure that the clinician you are working with is A: Clinically equipped to support you with your needs and B: a therapist we feel you would connect best with.
Our goal is to equipped you with the tools & coping mechanisms needed to tackle presenting issues and life's challenges while not in the room with your therapist.
It depends. We’re here to help you understand yourself and why you act the way you do, which may or may not be related to your childhood. Once we determine the root cause of what’s holding you back, we’ll set goals for your desired life, and help you get it.
No. Most guys come to us without prior history of a condition. Modern life is complex and requires a lot from us. Our ability to comfortably navigate daily life depends greatly on our mental abilities. Guys come to us to develop those abilities. Confronting your limiting aspects and moving towards a more rewarding and satisfying life doesn’t mean you have mental issues. We also successfully work with guys with ‘actual’ diagnoses.
All of our Counsellors have a Master’s degree and are Registered Clinical Counsellors (R.C.C), Canadian Certified Counsellors (C.C.C) or Registered Professional Counsellors (RPC through CPCA). These credentials are covered by most third party extended health insurers.
Our Vancouver-based men's therapy helps with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship challenges, career transitions, personal development, and general mental wellness. We work with both diagnosed conditions and men simply looking to improve their mental performance.
