I have been providing individual and group counselling since 2005, having gained extensive experience in areas of trauma, chronic pain, and interpersonal relationships as well as, workplace and career issues. My work with non-profit and government funded agencies, in the private, and in outreach and office-based environments has allowed me to help people from all walks of life.
With my clients, I create a confidential, non-judgmental and culturally sensitive space, where we work together to bring about the desired change in your life. While I have the training, you have had the experience. Therefore, we explore and brainstorm solutions together with my professional guidance and your feedback.
I use psych-education combined with a solution focused and goal oriented approach to counselling, while taking into consideration the unique attributes and needs of my client's. I believe that change, although difficult, is possible with the right tools, effective goal setting and appropriate guidance.
